The club meets each second and fourth Sunday of each month (and fifth Sunday when it occurs), commencing at 9am. The shooting calendar runs from February to November for grading, but shooting ceases in mid December.

Club members do travel to other ranges, such as West Wyalong, Dubbo, Springwood, Moss Vale, Sutherland, and Malabar for competitions. Within the club, people are given a "grading" after a period of time to ensure they are competing against people of a similar skill level. These gradings are used when competing against other clubs.
Participants who are under 18 are referred to as "Juniors" and they compete against other Juniors when competitions are held.
Due to restrictions, rifles must be loaded with single rounds only (no magazines are to be used) and only standard velocity rimfire (0.22cal) ammunition is permitted. If you have any doubts about this, consult a club Range Officer. Air rifles are also permitted at the range.
